I really like the 2K11. I shoot single stack (a customized Colt Railgun.) This Kimber is great, so far I have shot one match with it and really like the trigger pull, fit and function. The only drawbacks are that the magazine release button spring is way too stiff. I cut one coil off of it (after the double coil at the beginning) and it is perfect. The front sight is also a little too wide, and leaves only a tiny gap of daylight on either side of it. It is a Tag Precision sight that use a fiber optic insert with an Allen head set screw holding it from the front. Great system, but they do not produce a narrower front sight. For those who are using the pistol to shoot optics that wouldn't matter, but I'm an iron sight guy and I'm shooting Limited. I might try to have the rear sight (a great fully adjustable one) machined to be a bit wider.
All in all this is the perfect pistol to buy and shoot Limited Optics right out of the box. I am stunned at the attention to detail.
